They told my parents to pay upfront when they first arrived, including the tip. When my parents asked to pay the tip after they get the massge, but then they said it is 20%. Then they also said they're not a restaurent so the tip had to be 20%. This is all before my parents even got a massage... Will not be going back ever, and would really discourage others from going there.
Omg this place is the NEXT LEVEL. I got a massage from May and she did an awesome job. I wish I could give more stars. Her massage was strong but gentle, loved whatever she did. Highly recommended!
They pressure you to tip—just a heads up. I made a reservation over the phone because I was in pain. I got a massage from a female therapist, and to be fair, the massage itself was excellent. She had strong hands and was able to pinpoint and relieve my pain very effectively. During the session, I even thought I should come regularly—it was that good. I had already prepared cash for both the massage fee and a generous tip (about 20%). But when I went to pay, they looked at the cash and told me they have a minimum tip policy of $20, which was more than what I had prepared. In the end, I had to pay more than expected, and I’ve decided I won’t be going back. I specifically chose this place because I heard other nearby massage shops also pressure customers to tip, and I was hoping this one would be different—but unfortunately, it wasn’t. Again, the massage was truly great. But only go if you’re okay with being expected to overtip.
